Customised power supplies

In addition to our extensive standard programme we develop and build power supplies for all kinds of different applications.

For instance:

  (e.g. front panel with customer’s logo).

Realisations

	ESO Observatorium La Silla, Chile Power supplies from Kniel feed in challenging environmetal conditions (high humidity, temperatures below freezing point) a set of CCD metering systems which digitizes the analogue data coming from the telescope and feeds them into the imaging system.
	DESY, Hamburg The sensors for the acquisition of data of subatomic ativities are being fed with high precision output voltages under very difficult EMC-conditions by power supplies from Kniel.
	Institute of Data Processing and Electronics, Karlsruhe Research Centre In difficult environmental conditions inside the autarkic pig for the inspection of pipelines a power supply from Kniel provides the nessessary input power for the integrated high-performance computers.
	Metz Aerials, Karlsruhe A power supply from Kniel feeds the computer, that commands the escape ladder.

Implementations

	Highly customised power supply with state indication through LEDs and external signals. The housing as well as the elctrical functions of the power supply have been made-to-measure for the machine. The result: The easy to fitting of the unit saves expenses, the available room in the machine is perfectly utilized and the aligned ventilation conditions extend the durability of the power supply.

	400W installation power supply with seven outputs and integrated ventilation concept. For this customer Kniel realized a perfectly integrated power supply with increased output power while avoiding the need to change the concept of housing.
